BlackRock and DRW execs bullish on tokenisation potential

DRW’s Don Wilson expects every instrument to be traded on-chain in five years’ time

Widespread trading of tokenised assets could happen much faster than many in the market expect, according to DRW’s Don Wilson.

The founder and chief executive of the Chicago-based proprietary trading firm said: “My expectation is that in five years from now, every instrument that is traded frequently will be traded on-chain.” Wilson was speaking at the Federal Reserve’s Payments Innovation
