Deutsche Bank exec urges EU to consider competitiveness

As global rules diverge, pressure mounts on bloc to ensure reforms don’t hold back its banking sector

European regulators must focus on competitiveness when redesigning financial rules to prevent overburdensome regulation, according to Julia Kolbe, head of capital markets policy and UK at Deutsche Bank.
