Barclays hires former Crédit Agricole swaptions head

Barclays has hired Samy Ben Aoun to lead its rates trading team for continental Europe, as part of the bank’s effort to expand its rates business.

Ben Aoun spent nearly two decades at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, where he last served as global head of non-linear rates trading. He previously held senior positions in structured and exotics rates trading, according to his LinkedIn
