APG upbeat on sustainability derivatives despite setbacks

Isda AGM: Dutch pension fund manager’s chief executive believes instruments have room to grow

APG’s chief executive, Ronald Wuijster, has said he is optimistic about the future of sustainability-linked derivatives, even if the pension fund provider’s own experience hasn’t been entirely positive so far.

Speaking at the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s annual general meeting in Amsterdam today (May 14), Wuijster said they have had mixed results with the products in the past.
