Foreign exchange liquidity providers (LPs) say they are seeing increasing demand from clients to trade on bilateral streams instead of the traditional request-for-quote (RFQ) protocol.
Bilateral streaming via application programming interfaces (APIs) has become an important way for dealers to pipe their prices directly to a client without entering into competition with rivals and leaking trading
