Steven Francis

ABSTRACT

Poorly integrated information systems often lead to risks that are high in frequency and low in severity. However, many catastrophic failures and loss events can also be traced back to a lack of integration. No single software application, consulting engagement or "silver bullet" exists that can solve the problem either: doing so requires vision, discipline and an understanding of why many integration initiatives do not succeed.
