CME, Ice to launch repositories rivalling the DTCC

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) may have swept the board in a series of industry-run contests to anoint derivatives data repositories, but the New York-based company still faces competition from at least two of its beaten rivals – the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Intercontinental Exchange (Ice). Both firms say they are going ahead with plans to launch their own offerings.
