Banks join forces to launch e-trading liquidity network

Ten banks have announced plans to launch LiquidityHub, a tool for providing liquidity and market data for the fixed-income electronic trading community.

LiquidityHub will aggregate trading prices for all participating banks – not just the 10 founder members – in the dealer-to-client marketplace. It will not itself be a trading platform; instead it will distribute market data and electronic trading via financial intermediaries, electronic distribution channels and trading platforms.
