S&P links up with CSV

April 10—Standard & Poor's has linked up with New York-based Complex Security Valuations (CSV) in order to expand its market valuation of illiquid securities and derivatives.

Speaking at a press event in New York, JR Rieger, a vice-president in S&P’s global pricing services group, says there has been a tremendous increase in demand from its clients, mutual funds and hedge funds for independent pricing.
