EFET criticises revised regulatory tariffs

The French government's revised regulatory tariffs for electricity and gas suppliers has provoked strong criticism from the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET).

EFET says the government regulation of energy prices, known as Tarif Reglemente Transitoire d'Ajustement du Marche (TARTAM), is damaging to the free market trading of energy, making it impossible to hedge against volatile prices.
