Royal Bank of Scotland suffers two senior departures in its foreign exchange business

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has suffered a double blow with the departure of its global head of FX, Mark Barnes, in London and Christiane Mandell, head of RBS' Latin American businesses in Mexico and Brazil, based in Stamford, Connecticut.

Barnes is leaving the London office on August 27 for a one-year sabbatical, a year after being promoted to global head of foreign exchange. He reports locally to Peter Rading and Michael Lyublinsky, co-heads of fixed income, currencies and commodities. The
