On a slow road

Italy has limited potential for electricity derivatives trading at present � a number of problems need to be overcome before a market can develop properly. So said Nicolas Bertrand, derivatives division, Borsa Italiana, at the E-Mart Energy 2001 conference in Milan in late November.
