Bonds to trade on Shenzhen exchange

The Shenzhen stock exchange has set up an online trading system for corporate bonds and the first bond issuance is expected to list on the system soon.

According to the Shenzhen bourse, investors that hold an A-share (renminbi-denominated) account with the exchange can buy the corporate bond through the trading intranet, much as they would ordinary stock transactions.

Energy company Shandong Luneng Group is expected to be the first company to issue bonds on the new exchange, in the region of 1
