BNP Paribas survey highlights investor caution

Investors are reducing their exposure to credit markets amid fears of over-zealous monetary tightening at the Federal Reserve, according to the latest survey of fixed-income investors from BNP Paribas.

Two-fifths of the respondents in Europe and the UK cited this as one of their top two concerns. Other worries included the consequences of a sharp rise in US corporate defaults and concerns about debt-financed mergers and acquisitions.
