Incapital swallows rival LaSalle

News

Incapital has acquired the La Salle Broker Dealer Services Division from parent company Bank of America. The deal will merge the structured investment distribution activities of the US's two largest wholesale distributors. "It is very positive for structured products distribution," says Tom Ricketts, Chicago-based chief executive of Incapital. "It expands our platform and it adds experienced salespeople and educational tools. I think it will further extend our lead in distribution," he says.
