CDS of cashflow CDOs gain liquidity boost

The market for CDS on cashflow CDOs looks to be gaining liquidity in the US. "Our traders in RBS Greenwich report traction in CDS on CDO trading and estimate that this fledgling market is seeing $100-200 million traded weekly across the market," says Michael Hampden-Turner, structured credit research analyst at RBS in London. "If liquidity is established we expect to enjoy greater CDO pricing transparency, and there is potential for the secondary market to lead the way in terms of spread-tiering
