Ted spread continues to rise as markets fall

At close yesterday the Ted spread reached an unprecedented 4.23%, up 0.31% from 3.92% at close on Wednesday. But at 1245 BST today the Ted spread had risen a further 0.07% to 4.30%.

Overnight US dollar Libor dipped dramatically from 5.09% yesterday to 2.47%, a drop of 2.62%. Euro Libor also fell from 3.95% to 3.90%, while sterling Libor climbed significantly from 5.42% to 5.81%.

Three-month dollar Libor and sterling Libor climbed today from 4.75% to 4.82% and 6.28% to 6.29% respectively. Eur
