The call of the Ocean
Profile

Seeking new frontiers is the full-time pursuit of Richard Clarke. After seven years in consulting and investment banking around Asia, he gave up his job in late 2003 and left Hong Kong to go sailing on a 44-foot yacht, 'Rhythm Stick'. After a year at sea, he joined AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) in early 2005 as director of structured solutions and alternative investments. Based in Hong Kong, Clarke is now helping the firm introduce 'cutting edge' structured products to the Asian market.
