EU corporates ready for a fight over CVA exemption

European corporates are "getting ready for a new battle" if regulators try to strike down or overwrite an existing exemption of counterparty risk capital charges. The European Banking Authority (EBA) has been reviewing the credit valuation adjustment (CVA) capital exemption and is set to discuss its findings at a meeting in London on December 5.
