New standard CSA to launch before end of the year

New standard CSA aims to reduce valuation disputes by eliminating the embedded optionality that exists in the current document

contract

A new standard credit support annex (CSA) will be launched within weeks, with the first trades under the document expected shortly after that. At least two big dealers are ready to execute with each other under the new CSA, after finishing touches are applied to a legal review of the document - the design was agreed earlier this year and lawyers have been poring over it since then.
