Derivatives will be more lucrative in 2012: Risk.net poll

The eurozone sovereign debt crisis might be rumbling on, but the majority of respondents to a Risk.net poll expect the derivatives business to be more lucrative in 2012.

Nearly two-thirds of respondents said they expect to make more money from derivatives in 2012, with 18% predicting lower returns this year. Nineteen per cent said they expect to perform more or less the same as last year.
