Dmitri Goloubentsev, Evgeny Lakshtanov and Vladimir Piterbarg explain in mathematical terms, and demonstrate using a simple example, how the automatic implicit function theorem, a special version of the implicit function theorem, enables fully automated differentiation of exact-fit calibration routines.
