Fund admin survey finds differences in offerings

Custody Risk's Alternative Fund Administration Survey found noticeable differences in the service offerings of providers to hedge funds, funds of alternative funds, private equity and real estate funds.


Most of the 15 fund administrators questioned in Custody Risk’s Alternative Fund Administration Survey say they will not offer support for valuation services to act as an external valuer under the alternative investment fund managers directive (AIFMD).

At least half, however, will provide support for independent valuation requirements under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (Emir).
