Jersey's rule changes are the platform for hedge fund growth

Jersey is seeing notable increases in its hedge funds business as regulatory changes there take effect. Amid rising interest from functionaries both on and outside the island in creating further hedge fund vehicles, Jersey has effectively created two fund classifications: retail funds and expert funds. Expert funds have the following characteristics:

n They are for investors who make an initial minimum investment of $100,000

n A risk warning must be signed, stating that investors accept any
