Exchanges maintain tight grip on data amid new EU reporting regime for power and gas markets, disappointing some market participants
As European energy firms gear up for the implementation of a new mandatory trade reporting regime on October 7, technology vendors that had hoped to provide the marketplace with easy-to-use reporting services say their efforts are being undermined by exchanges that are refusing to provide access to market data.
