Roaring Fork Advisors, a natural gas hedge fund based in Aspen, Colorado, is closing its doors after less than two years in business.

The fund's founder, Sandeep Sachdeva, sent a letter to investors on December 29 expressing "disappointment" with its performance.

"It is with a heavy heart and deep regrets that I am writing to inform you that we will be winding up the Roaring Fork funds and closing Roaring Fork Advisors," Sachdeva wrote in the letter, a copy of which was obtained by Risk.net.
