The new trading unit of Saudi Aramco, called Aramco Trading, launched in January. Based in Dhahran, the wholly owned subsidiary is a natural outgrowth of Saudi Aramco’s ongoing push into downstream operations. Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil giant is already the world’s largest oil company, measured by daily production and proven reserves, but these days it has major ambitions in refining as well
