E.ON Energy Trading enters US natural gas market

German power and gas company E.ON begins drive to expand presence in US gas market.

German power and gas company E.ON's trading arm, E.ON Energy Trading, completed its first trade in US natural gas financial contracts on Wednesday, the company said in a statement.

It completed an over-the-counter (OTC) Henry Hub trade for June 2010 on the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) OTC platform.

E.ON's decision to launch activity in the US natural gas market is part of its strategy to develop
