Forestry project launched under new offset protocol
Project developer Finite Carbon has announced details of a new Improved Forest Management (IFM) project in Tennessee that could generate several hundred thousand of carbon offsets over the next 100 years.
The project involves more than 4,300 acres of Brimstone Forest lands located in eastern Tennessee in the Cumberland Mountains near Oak Ridge.
Details of the project were submitted to the Climate Action Reserve (CAR) on March 5, 2010 under the updated CAR Forest Project Protocol. It is only the second IFM project outside California and the first in the eastern part of the country to be listed under
