Forestry project launched under new offset protocol
The project involves more than 4,300 acres of Brimstone Forest lands located in eastern Tennessee in the Cumberland Mountains near Oak Ridge.
Details of the project were submitted to the Climate Action Reserve (CAR) on March 5, 2010 under the updated CAR Forest Project Protocol. It is only the second IFM project outside California and the first in the eastern part of the country to be listed under the new protocol.
