
UNFCCC official: Exec Board to announce CDM changes
One of the proposals is to increase the time project developers have to respond to queries on their projects, says John Kilani, director of the sustainable development mechanisms (SDM) programme at the UNFCCC.
Market participants are likely to welcome any development that could channel more investment into CDM projects. The willingness of the CDM board to look at changing the technical framework would be a positive development for the CDM market, which is suffering from the lack of clarity
