Masdar and E.on create carbon trading venture

Abu Dhabi-based renewables company Masdar has joined forces with German utility E.on to form E.on Masdar Integrated Carbon (EMIC), a company focused on developing carbon emission reduction projects.

EMIC will be based in Abu Dhabi and focus on improving the energy efficiency of oil and gas power generation facilities in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
