TNK-BP under Kremlin scrutiny

Rapidly mounting Kremlin pressure on Anglo-Russian joint venture TNK-BP has sparked fears that it could be the latest foreign energy company to find its assets seized by the state.

Problems for the company began with the arrest of two men, one of whom works as a manager in TNK-BP's international affairs office, for "illegally collecting classified commercial information for a number of foreign hydrocarbon companies", according to Russia's security service.
