Scaroni gets top job at Eni
Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi confirmed at the end of May that Paulo Scaroni (right) has replaced Vittorio Mincato as chief executive of state-controlled oil-and-gas firm Eni. Scaroni, who is well-respected among investors but has no oil industry experience, was previously power company Enel’s current chief executive.
