North American banks outpace European peers in ERM

New research shows US, Canadian banks have more developed enterprise risk management functions

Two-thirds of banks in North America formally define enterprise risk, compared with just 30% of European lenders, new data shows.

Banks in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East fall in between, with their figure standing at 50%.
