Climate risk management is most often a job shared: 37% of banks report joint ownership structures, while a further 23% place climate risk under ERM. Only 19% operate a dedicated, standalone climate risk function.
At 85% of banks, Climate Risk reports to the CRO; only 23% of banks have a dedicated climate risk committee.
