Despite the potential for increased foreign exchange volatility in Asia as a result of macroeconomic events such as the expected US Federal Reserve tapering, and recent Indian and Indonesian elections, it remains at historical lows for many currencies. Dealers say forex trading volumes are down as a result, but this has also created unique opportunities for clients to enter into attractive hedges
