Stellar demand from Australia's retail sector means that 2005 has been a good year for Macquarie Bank's derivatives business. The bank, which wins Asia Risk's House of the Year, Australia award for the second consecutive year, has capitalised on increased demand for equity-related products to enhance its position as one of the country's prime derivatives outfits.
