Revealing Pensions Regulator’s decision making process ‘akin to insider dealing’

Greater transparency over The Pension Regulator’s (TPR) move to block a deficit reduction deal by the Reader’s Digest Association (RDA) pension fund scheme – forcing the company into insolvency – could be “akin to [distributing] insider dealing information”, said a senior figure at the regulator.
