China offers astute wealth managers great promise, but demands a cultural sensitivity and awareness of history to succeed, according to Margaret Cornish, executive director of the Canada China Business Council (pictured). Speaking at the Nassau Conference in the Bahamas earlier this year, Cornish said China was a country with a "speculative capital market, where all the money is captured in savings funds." China has a 40% savings rate, she added.
