Rokos hires new risk chief

Gianluca Squassi is replacing Nick Howard as the $8 billion hedge fund’s CRO

Rokos nabs CRO from London-based rival

Nick Howard, chief risk officer at Rokos Capital Management, has left the firm. He will be replaced by Gianluca Squassi – formerly the CRO and chief executive officer at LindenGrove Capital, another London-based macro hedge fund.

Howard left the firm for personal reasons, a step that had been flagged to Rokos investors in the third quarter of last year. He is understood to have spent recent months helping with the transition to his successor.
