In 2020, Kasikorn LINE saw the opportunity to combine data from Kasikornbank and the social network platform LINE to provide banking and loan services to the unbanked and underbanked in Thailand, a segment neglected by traditional banking institutions.

Kasikorn LINE, a joint venture between Kasikornbank and LINE, launched LINE BK, the first bank of its kind in Thailand – offering banking and lending services entirely through a digital channel.

LINE BK is integrated with the LINE social network
