Dutch-German power group enters top five

A joint venture between Netherlands-based energy group Trianel and German power trader Enetko has grown to become Germany’s fifth largest electricity supplier. The joint company, Enetko – Partner der Trianel, now has annual sales of 19 terawatt hours (TWh) to around 5 million customers. The company is effectively a group of 34 local Stadtwerke – municipal electricity providers – with another 38 acting as associated partners.
