Standard & Poor's plays house with Goldman Sachs

Ratings agency Standard & Poor's has signed a licensing agreement with Goldman Sachs for the development of financial products based upon the S&P/Case-Shiller(R) Home Price Indexes. The indexes are a measure of US house prices regionally and nationwide.
The 10 regional indexes are published monthly and aim to track the price path of typical single-family homes located in each metropolitan area covered. The nationwide index is a stock-weighted average of the 10 individual indexes. Each index has a
