
Infonet builds redundant wide area network for STBUSA

EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA – US telecoms company Infonet Services said in November it was providing a redundant wide area network (WAN) for Sumitomo Trust & Banking USA (STBUSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese bank Sumitomo Trust & Banking. The IP network will offer built-in redundancy to make sure that banking transactions can be completed without disruption to day-to-day operations, Infonet said.
