Pointsec launches security system for handheld computers

STOCKHOLM -- Pointsec Mobile Technologies said in March it has launched a security system designed for handheld computers produced by Palm Inc.
Pointsec, a unit of Swedish data security firm Protect Data, says its Pointsec for Palm OS product uses an advanced access control system and encryption technology.
The upsurge in the use of advanced handheld computers, which can store large volumes of sensitive company data, will create new security problems for major companies and organisations, Pointsec
