Vtesse offers SuperLAN service

LONDON -- provider of gigabit connectivity services Vtesse Networks said in October it had launched its SuperLAN service, which includes the bespoke design, build and management of a single-protocol, optical network to link separate sites in the UK.

SuperLAN delivers local area network (LAN) services over an all-optical fibre network. As the whole of the customer network can be based on an in-house networking protocol, bottlenecks caused by indeterminate routing, networking interface cards
