Pacific Exchange selects Radianz extranet

Pacific Exchange (PCX), the US-based stock options market-place, has signed a contract with US e-network services supplier Radianz to connect PCX's electronic trading system to RadianzNet, an internet protocol-based global financial extranet.

The RadianzNet network will enable secure access to the PCX Poets system for PCX’s 500-plus members. Poets is a fully automated order system.

PCX chose RadianzNet as its infrastructure provides PCX members with a fast and secure hook-up to the exchange, without the need to buy costly leased lines, said PCX chief information officer Jim Yee.
