BPC offers 'Complete' risk management product

Bita Complete provides analysis at the portfolio, market, sector and asset levels. It attempts to provide fund managers with a complete understanding of the sources of risk in their positions. To do this, managers send portfolio data to BPC electronically where they are then processed by a suite of BPC products. The results are then transmitted back to the fund manager within 24 hours of receiving the data.

Bita Complete is targeted at fund managers without quantitative analysis capabilities. But managers looking for independent analysis to validate their own calculations are also likely to use the system. Analysis will typically take place over a monthly period.

"Because Bita Complete is a centrally provided service, the fund manager has no complex implementation, IT infrastructure or data acquisition issues to worry about," said Simon Tizard, commercial director of BPC.
