
Energy Risk's Software Survey and Rankings 2010

Despite the financial crisis, or perhaps because of it, over half the respondents to Energy Risk’s 2010 Software Survey reported upgrading their ETRM software systems in 2009 with some 67.3% saying they will be investing in new systems this year.
The biggest driver behind investment, voted for by 48.6% of respondents, was dissatisfaction with the speed and usability of existing software systems. This was followed by regulatory changes, with 36.1% of responses, and moving into new markets (35.4%)
