Financial crisis factbooks to go ahead

LONDON – The FSA, HM Treasury and the Bank of England are to proceed with plans to compile a series of 'factbooks' to better inform their decision-making in the event of a financial crisis.

The three bodies, known collectively as the UK Tripartite Authorities, have decided to proceed in asking 60 major financial institutions with involvement in the main financial markets and retail financial services to make data available to them.
